Are there any good cell phone plans for people needing to call overseas a lot?

I’m looking into getting rid of my land line, because the only reason I have it is to call my Mom who lives in England. Are there any good cell phone plans someone could recommend that have good/ decent long distance available? thanks!
There is no good plan for any US carrier to call oversea. They are usually charged at the double rate (per minute charge plus your mintues if you are calling at day time). With Verizon to call England per minutes charges are 40 cents or something crazy like that. If you want to get rid of your landline try using the phonecard at the free minutes time. Atleast that way you won’t burn your daytime mintues and get the best phone card rates.
